Itβs 2035. The initiators of βThe Greenland Projectβ sold shares to people who, by buying shares, also became owners of a piece of land in Greenland. All participants long for a new start. An impending disaster (so the shareholders are toldβ¦) makes them leave in a hurry. They embark on a cargoship that will bring them to Greenland. Upon leaving the harbor the ship bumps against the quay and gets damaged, and when the engine of the ship breaks down during a storm, the captain lowers the anchor and people are stuck in the hold of the ship. Not knowing how big the threat is, not knowing how long theyβll have to stay in the hold, they start to live in uncertainty. Central duo (amongst 18 other characters that each respond differently to the situation) is Alice and Gus, happily married when they embark. They both react differently on the imprisonment on the cargo ship: Gus develops conspiracy theories, while Alice wants space to think, time to not have to decide immediately on what is true, or what is right to do. When they finally reach Greenland, Alice needs to make a choice: can she stay married to her husband who changed so much during the journey? Can she start over and live her dream?
